Social Good Lagos Development Initiative ‘Social Good Lagos’ wishes to draw the attention of our esteemed partners, community members, volunteers, and the general public that Social Good Lagos Development Initiative known as ‘Social Good Lagos’ is not affiliated with the just concluded online Social Media for Social Good Summit Awards.  

After receiving numerous calls and messages from friends and partners, asking if we are associated with the Social Media for Social Good Summit Awards, for the avoidance of doubt, Social Good Lagos wishes to state categorically that we are neither a partner, sponsor nor the organizers of the Social Media for Social Good Summit Awards.

Social Good Lagos is a local chapter of the United Nations Foundation’s +SocialGood global network, aims to build a network of change-makers, social innovators, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to share ideas and inspire sustainable solutions to the pressing problems in Lagos and Nigeria at large.

Our annual Social Good Summit which started in 2017, will hold later this year. Since inception, the ‘Social Good Summit’ has created a platform for making progressive change and impact. We curate several points of engagement that brings our community together to share best practices, incubate ideas, identify research needs, and explore new opportunities for development.

In view of the above, the board of Social Good Lagos, therefore, uses this opportunity to reiterate its commitment towards a shared vision for a better world by 2030 leveraging on the power new media and technology to make the world a better place.

We will inform our community members, partners, volunteers and the general public first-hand about our projects, upcoming events and activities via our website and social media platforms, @socialgoodlagos on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
